Winger Timing Models is a professional market timing service using our WTM timing model. WTM was created
to take the emotional aspect out of investing in the stock market. It is a purely mechanical system that takes opinion
out of the timing model.
The site is updated daily after the market closes, and numerical calculations have been made. Those calculations
result in a BUY, SELL or CASH signal. Any changes are posted on the website
and current subscribers will recieve an email notification. In addition , a weekly email is sent out to each subscriber with
the current signals.
The WTM model is index based. That is it is meant to be used with one or more of the major indexes.
These can be in the form of mutual funds or exchange traded funds. Some of the indexes that are commonly used are : QQQQ (
Nasdaq 100) , SPY ( S&P 500), VTI ( a total market index) , DIA ( DOW 30) . Using WTM with the indexes can provide a measure
of diversity, safety and good risk to return ratios that you may not get in picking individual stocks.

WTM is used by both "buy and holders" and by short term investors. Why would a " buy and hold " investor pay
for a timing signal? Because some buy and hold investors do not wish to see their portfolio melt down by up to 50%, as happened
in the 2000 - 2003 period. WTM went to a sell in October of 2000 and stayed that way until June of 2003. Many
went into cash equivalents at the time and got back in in 2003.
The " buy and hold" crowd, just use the WTM . This is used alot in 401K investments. There have been 2 buy
and 1 sell signal since 1997.
Shorter term investors use the Standard WTM . We give separate signals for the S&P 500 , Midcaps , Small
caps , Nasdaq 100 , Dow , established foreign markets , emerging markets and a total market index. This system may have 1
- 3 buy signals per year.
For the more active investor , there is the WTM Active. Theses trades are also indexed
based. WTM active trades may last from 1 day to a couple weeks.
